Every year around this time — just as all the Christmas decorations arrive at the stores — the Comics on the Brain staff starts thinking about one of our favorite parts of Christmas — Train displays.

Well, recently we came across a truly magnificent one. The only problem is that it’s in Germany. Somehow, though, it looks like its worth a trip across the Atlantic to see.

The display is called Miniatur Wunderland and boasts 24,757 square feet of display, 890 trains and 200,000 figurines. You can learn more about the Hamburg display at its English-language site.

To keep Miniatur Wunderland up and running, the company needs 270 employees.
