We’ve grown to enjoy The Phantom in recent years — from the original comic strips to the awesome movie with Billy Zane.
Then we ran across this, and totally loved it. It’s awfully goofy, but a real labor of love by people quite familiar with the Phantom, his legend and his associates.
The additional surprise is seeing Paul Hogan as this off-kilter Phantom.
This skit appears to be from Paul Hogan’s time in a series called “The Paul Hogan Show,” which ran from the 1970s through his time as Crocodile Dundee.
Definitely very cool.
